Based on the career of Green Day,The Broadway musical American Idiot, is set to close next month.
On the production on April 21,the curtains will come down after over 400 performances at St James Theater in New York.
For the show's closure no official announcement has been given,but it comes after ticket sales plummeted when Green Day star Billie Joe Armstrong's recent run in the show came to an end.
According to the Hollywood Reporter,Green Day singer will come back for the last three weeks of the musical.
American Idiot will go on tour across the US at the end of the year.
